Experimental study on waste heat recovery characteristics of inorganic ceramic membrane flue gas

چکیده
The wet saturated flue gas discharged by coal-fired utility boilers leads to a large amount of low-temperature wasteheat loss. Inorganic ceramic membrane is acid-base resistant and has strong chemical stability. It an ideal material forrecovering waste heat from gas. experiment recovery was carried outwith inorganic as the core, characteristic parameters at tailof boiler were analyzed; taking 316 L stainless steel comparative object, strengthening effect inorganicceramic film on improving power composite transfer coefficient discussed. results showthat mainly evaporation latent water, accounting for about90%; circulating water used cooling medium, capacity stronger;compared with when air membraneflue more significant, enhancement high 9; increasing gasflow helpful improve coefficient; same time, can also recover condensate quality. this paper provide areference application in recovery.

Energy Savings Potential through Waste Heat Recovery from Flue Gas for Post Combustion Co2 Capture
Flue gas from a plant using fossil fuels contains CO2. Thus power/process plants using fossil fuels contribute to climate change if CO2 in flue gas is not captured. The process of CO2 capture from flue gas is called „postcombustion‟ CO2 capture. Existing plants may be retrofitted with this process to minimize CO2 emission. Amine solutions are mostly used for this process to scrub the flue gas. ...
متن کاملA Numerical Study on Using Air Cooler Heat Exchanger for Low Grade Energy Recovery from Exhaust Flue Gas in Natural Gas Pressure Reduction Stations
Heat EXchangers (HEX) that are used in City Gate Station (CGS) systems are modeled numerically to recover the exhaust waste heat. It was tried to find the best viscous model to obtain results in accordance with experimental results and to change the heat exchanger design. This HEX is used for recovering heat from exhaust flue gas with a mixture of 40% water and 60% ethylene glycol as the coolin...
متن کاملIntegration of Gas Transport through a Composite Catalytic Inorganic Ceramic Membrane for Environmental Gas Separation Processes
This work presents the transport behaviour of carrier gases with inorganic ceramic membrane used for environmental gas separations at 289K and 0.01-1 bar. The gases tested include: Helium (He), Nitrogen (N2) Carbon dioxide (CO2) and Argon (Ar). The Knudsen ideal selectivity ratio of 0.95, 0.3 and 0.79 for Ar/CO2, He/CO2 and N2/CO2 gas respectively was slightly higher than the theoretical select...
متن کاملCharacteristics of Halogenated Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Flue Gas from Waste Incinerators
Introduction Halogenated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are widespread environmental pollutants 1,2 . Chlorinated PAHs (ClPAHs) and brominated PAHs (BrPAHs) are structurally similar to other halogenated hydrocarbons such as polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs), dibenzofurans (PCDFs), and biphenyls (PCBs). Although the environmental fates and effects of dioxins have been studied in...
متن کاملCleaning of Municipal Waste Incinerator Flue Gas in Europe
The paper discusses the various methods used in Europe to reduce emissions of pollutants from the stack gases of municipal incinerators. With respect to NOx, the paper mentions two experimental postcombustion control approaches involving the addition of chemicals to the wet-scrubber system to oxidize or reduce the NOx to absorbable NO 2 or dischargeable N 2. As pointed out , these methods would...
